Discover Excellence in In Vitro Fertilisation at Malaga Specialist

Unlocking the potential for parenthood, In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) at Malaga Specialist offers cutting-edge techniques and compassionate care tailored to your unique needs.
Understanding In Vitro Fertilisation
IVF involves the retrieval of eggs from the ovaries, which we then fertilise with sperm in a laboratory setting. We carefully select the resulting embryos and transfer them to the uterus, where they can develop naturally. This procedure may involve the use of donor sperm in certain cases.
Indications for In Vitro Fertilisation
- With Partner’s Sperm: Previous unsuccessful attempts, unexplained infertility, fallopian tube issues, low sperm count, ovulation disorders, advanced maternal age.
- With Donor Sperm: Severe male infertility, previous unsuccessful cycles, single females, same-sex female couples, advanced maternal age.
The In Vitro Fertilisation Procedure in Malaga
Embark on your journey to parenthood with confidence through three distinct phases:
Phase 1: Ovarian Stimulation Undergo hormone treatment to stimulate follicle development, monitored closely through ultrasound scans and hormone testing.
Phase 2: Egg Retrieval and Embryo Culture Retrieve eggs from the ovaries via a minimally invasive procedure conducted under sedation and ultrasound guidance. Sperm is then processed and used to fertilise the eggs through conventional IVF or ICSI. Embryos are cultured and monitored for development.
Phase 3: Embryo Transfer and Pregnancy Test Transfer of selected embryos into the uterine cavity in a painless outpatient procedure. Hormone treatment supports embryo viability, with additional embryos potentially frozen for future use. Pregnancy test conducted 16 days post egg retrieval.
